President
Alejandra Morales
The President shall serve as presiding officer of the organization, as liaison to the national association, act as the representative of the organization to the public. Appoint committees as necessary. Also, coordinate the submission of all chapter reports to the national association.
President-Elect
Rachel Sale
The President-Elect shall assist the President and shall preside meetings in the absence of the President; perform other duties assigned by the President. Also, submits chapter articles to the national quarterly newsletter, coordinate and promote annual scholarships, and is responsible for publicity and advertising.
Past-President
Dr. Kelly Davis
The Past-President shall serve as a non-voting member in an advisory capacity to the Executive Board; serve as Executive Committee liaison to the Program Committee.
Secretary
Norine Bardo
The secretary shall record and distribute the minutes for all meetings, maintaining organizational records, program announcements, correspondence, reports; also, maintain all electronic and official documents and files.
Public Relations Officer
Merari Garcia
The Public Relations Office shall serve as historian for the chapter, including photographic records, coordinate maintenance of the chapter website.
Technology Officer
Jesus Cervantes
The Technology Officer shall be responsible for overseeing and managing all technological aspects to enhance operational efficiency and support the infrastructure effectiveness and impact. This role shall stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the association’s technological capabilities.
Membership Officer
Ashley Caballero
The Membership Officer shall be responsible for the collection of membership forms and dues, which are then forwarded to the chapter Treasurer; maintain a current roll of the membership; along with the Treasurer, verify current membership status.
Treasurer
Iris Velasquez
The Treasurer shall be responsible for the collection of membership dues, preparation and maintenance of the budget; maintain proper financial records and filing reports with AAWCC Regional Direct and AAWCC Vice President for Finance; Along with Membership Officer, verify current membership status for the annual report.
Starr Co. Campus Representative
Alejandra Garza
The Campus Representative shall act as the appointed Campus Liaison, serving as the primary point of contact for any inquiries or services related to the STC chapter at the Starr Co Campus. This role encompasses facilitating communication, providing guidance, and addressing any chapter-related questions or needs that arise within the campus community.
